I went there thinking the grounds was going to be great for pictures, but it felt limited. A few spots looked messy, and there wasn’t much room to actually get good shots. I expected a lot more from this place

My snap judgment as soon as we checked in was that the staff here are genuinely lovely, and that turned out to be right. Everyone we dealt with was polite, welcoming, and helpful, even when they seemed busy. Dinner service was really good too — professional without feeling overly formal or awkward. I’m giving 4 stars only because one request took a little longer than expected, but they handled it well once it was sorted. Overall, we had a really nice stay.

The Kentucky Castle team was such a big help with our wedding day. Planning a wedding can get overwhelming so fast, and my brain was all over the place half the time, but they were patient with every little question I had. They kept everything moving on the day of, which let us actually enjoy it instead of worrying about the next thing. The space looked beautiful, our guests had a great time, and looking back, I’m just really happy we picked them.

Stayed here recently while we were in the area, mostly because I wanted somewhere that wouldn’t feel run down after a long day out. The room was really clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the whole castle seemed well taken care of. I didn’t notice any weird smells, broken bits, or anything that made me feel uncomfortable, which I always appreciate.

Had a nice dinner overall. The food was tasty and hit the spot, but our waiter kind of forgot about us at one point, which seems to happen at every restaurant these days. Not a huge deal, but the service definitely could’ve been a little quicker.

I ate here the food was good. My steak came out cooked the way I asked, and the sides tasted fresh, so I can’t really complain there. Dessert was probably the best part of the whole meal. That said, I did leave feeling like the prices were a little steep for the portion sizes. I liked it overall, and I’d probably come back, but maybe not too often

Booking through the site was straightforward, and I was able to get the date I wanted without too much hassle. The confirmation did come through, but it was slower than I expected, and the details was something I ended up checking myself just to be sure.

Communication wasn’t terrible, just a little unclear. I sent an email with a question and got a reply later on, but it didn’t really cover everything I asked. In the end it all worked out okay, but for the price, I thought the whole process would be a bit smoother

Am I the only one who thought The Kentucky Castle would feel a lot more castle-like once you got inside? I really wanted to love it, and the outside definitely looks cool, but the interior just didn’t match what I had pictured.

Some areas felt more like a basic event venue than a castle. The furniture and decor seemed kind of mixed together without much warmth or character, and a few spots felt surprisingly plain.
For the price and the whole “castle” name, I expected more atmosphere and charm. It just didn’t have that old, cozy, historic castle feel I was hoping for, so I probably wouldn’t go back just for the ambiance.

The room was nice and the bed was actually really comfy, but the amenities were just okay. I was expecting a little more overall.

I paid quite a bit for this, and I’m still confused about what made it so pricey. It was okay, but for the amount I spent, I really don’t feel like I got my money’s worth

I went recently hoping for a relaxing spa day, but the whole experience left a bad impression. The pool was closed, which was a big letdown, and the spa area felt kind of messy and not very well looked after. Maybe it was just that day, but since this was my latest visit, it’s hard not to judge the place based on it.
